Many events sold out in last year’s festival, so book in advance to avoid disappointment.

2010 marks an exciting new partnership with the Grand Opera House who will be selling tickets for their events from the Grand Opera House Box Office 028 9024 1919 www.goh.co.uk

Booking fees will apply for telephone and online bookings. Charges for card payments and postage charges may also apply. Charges may vary.

Child ticket – applies to those 18 years and younger
Adult ticket – applies to those over the age of 18

Booking Policy

For most events (including some free events), you must book one ticket for each child and each adult. Adults go free to most workshops. Babes in arms (under 1s) go free to all events, except Baby Rave and A Gentle Storm. Some free events require advance booking so please check.

Festival tickets are priced to be accessible to all and we direct special help to communities in need through our Community Ticket Scheme. See website for details www.youngatart.co.uk

No refunds or exchanges after purchase. Latecomers cannot be admitted. All information is correct at time of print. Young at Art reserves the right to change or cancel events and refuse admission.

Schools and Groups

Schools, youth groups, playgroups and others wishing to bring large parties should contact the Young at Art office to arrange a booking 028 90230660

Group discounts are available for all events and all event times, including weekends. Free-to-download teacher/youth worker resources are available for festival trips and teachers can also access the free online resource, Toolbox, all year-round www.youngatart.co.uk/toolbox

Discounts available:

School/Group discounts – up to 40% off full price tickets available to all schools and groups with no minimum number required
Friendship Fund – tickets as low as £1 for groups experiencing hardship
Free teachers/leaders tickets – one free for every ten tickets purchased.
Free carers tickets – available only to group bookings with patrons with special needs. Maximum 5 carers tickets per group.

Check the website for information on special projects running for schools, groups and young people throughout the festival and year-round.

Accessibility

In order to offer you the best possible service we ask that you notify us at the time of booking of any special requirements or assistance you may need.

Young at Art is working with Open Arts to improve its accessibility and how it tells you about its events. Information on the accessibility of different events and venues can be found on the website or by contacting the box office.

Each venue’s accessibility has been identified with the following icons;

  • Wheelchair Icon Access for wheelchair users
  • Induction Loop IconInduction loop or infra-red (IR) hearing system available
  • Assistance Dogs IconAssistance Dogs welcome (recognised assistance dogs inc. guide, hearing, etc.)

Things to note

  • Please respect the age guidelines set for each event. A ‘+’ beside the age means the event has no upper limit.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult, except where otherwise stated.
  • Eating, drinking and use of cameras/mobiles are not allowed during performances.
  • If you have any special requirements, please tell us when booking.
  • Please respect the enjoyment of others.
